The context under which I hired Nassim was for the design and decoration of an entire new condo unit of the Mary Robert building in Griffintown. I had never worked with Nassim prior to this project and was met with a clear understanding of the style I was looking for, a sense of urgency as it relates to the timeline and professionalism in rapid and effective communications.
Upon meeting and discussing the project, Nassim quickly understood the style I was looking for. Considering the typical delays in the industry relating to logistics and order delays, I was shocked when I was able to comfortably move into the condo by July 1st, beating all expectations as it relates to timing.
I was so satisfied with the work, that I decided to use Nassim’s services to finish my other condo and even referred her to my parents for an additional job. The whole process was so much fun only because Nassim took all the responsibility.
Honestly its not a joke designing and furnishing a 4-floor house.
My whole family was so happy with her and her work. She gave best advice and treated the home like her own home. Don’t know how she manages but she will keep in mind every small corner of your house that doesn’t even cross our mind.
I will admit I was a bit hesitant in the beginning for paying her the fees. However, as you go through the process with her you will realize it’s a lot of responsibility that she takes in her plate and she does a lot more for you and your place than yourself. Nassim doesn’t limit her services to just designing and furnishing however she went above and beyond, Few things I was really impressed with her where she helped me with the following without extra charges.
Choosing the right paint for my house. Which involved her going to the paint store and getting the swatches for us.
Going to the tile store waiting for us to come and configuring the right ceramics for our bathroom. Choosing the right grouting for the tiles.
Checking up on the contractor regularly and making him do everything very precise to her instruction. Visiting my place almost everyday to see the progress with the contractors. Updating me on what I should consider adding or removing.
Figuring out the exact measurements for each wall for moldings, paintings, mirror and furniture. Everything was so accurately calculated that we were amazed by the results.
Choosing curtains and showing us all the options on how we can save money.
Helping us choose the right wallpaper.
Designing every room and every corner of the house to our likeness.
She went the extra mile and communicated with my kitchen contractor on the color/angle my kitchen handles should be installed.
She bought all the small accessories that we can’t possibly imagine.
She would constantly email us on all our missing furniture that we haven’t chosen and kept looking until we were satisfied.
She communicated with my furniture store for all my deliveries and tried to the best of her ability to schedule them as soon as she can to complete my house.
She even offered to help me with my outdoor furniture which was not a part of my contract with her!
Moreover, she gave us all her designer discounts at major places. Which is a cherry on top.
All in all Nassim is a Bomb.
You can see the passion in her work and she goes way far with her client. In no time she understood our taste. Her personal touch to every detail and suggestions has enhanced every corner of our house.
Honestly by the end of the contract I feel like I might have under paid her for all the time and effort she invested in my place. She turned my whole house around and every person that sees it is amazed! It would have been a total mess and super stressful without Nassim.
I really appreciate all the work and mostly her patient is commendable. We started to miss seeing her around and she felt more like a friend.
